I have been a California Real Estate Broker for 24 years and a Real Estate Investor for 28 years. I love Real Estate and believe it is the best investment anyone can make.
I personally own buildings in several states, including right here in Bakersfield CA and I own several hundred units across various states.
I also own and operate eHomes Property Management which manages approx. 1000 properties here in Bakersfield and surrounding areas in Kern County.
I point out that I am also an investor not to brag, but to let you know… I get it. I think like an investor, not just a property manager. I want properties to perform the way they should for my clients, not just collect fees. I care that properties run well. I care about vacancy factors and how many days it takes between turns. I care about repair costs and rehab costs and am constantly working on getting the best deals for myself and my clients. Debbie has resided in Bakersfield for over 40 years, starting her career in the insurance industry. She began working for eHomes of Bakersfield in real estate sales in 2003, obtaining her real estate license in 2004. She has extensive knowledge in both the sales and rental market in Bakersfield. In 2023, she expanded her role with the company as Office Manager.
Debbie has been married for over 30 years to her husband Jim and they have three daughters. In their free time, they enjoy camping in their fifth wheel with family and friends to Pismo Beach, Shaver Lake and San Diego. Debbie also enjoys bike riding, reading and puzzles.
Mike Coronado
Real Estate Professional and Property Manager
Mike Coronado is a dedicated real estate professional and property manager with deep roots in Bakersfield, California. Born and raised in Bakersfield, Mike developed a strong work ethic early in life, spending his summers and school breaks working in his family’s grape farming business until the age of 18.
After graduating from Ridgeview High School in 2000, Mike continued his education at Bakersfield College, where he earned his Associate of Arts degree. During this time, he also launched a successful local business specializing in vehicle customization and accessories. His work gained recognition, with several of his projects featured in magazines and professional photo shoots.
Mike’s passion for sales and client service led him into the automotive industry, where he quickly rose to become a top-producing salesperson at a local dealership. His drive and performance earned him advancement within the company, but he ultimately sought a career that offered greater flexibility and long-term growth—leading him to real estate and lending.
He joined Nationstar Mortgage, where he specialized in subprime lending and rapidly became a top producer. Mike found true fulfillment in helping clients achieve their financial and homeownership goals. However, following the 2008 housing market crash, the company closed, prompting him to take a step back and relocate to Hawaii. During his three years in Waikiki, Mike continued working in sales while also embracing island life as a surf instructor.
In 2013, Mike returned to Bakersfield with a renewed focus on real estate and joined eHomes of Bakersfield. Since then, he has built a successful career as both a licensed real estate agent and property manager. Mike currently oversees the largest portfolio within the company, managing assets valued at over $50 million.
His day-to-day responsibilities include property evaluations, coordinating repairs and renovations, managing contractors, overseeing tenant relations, and providing detailed financial projections to property owners. Mike takes pride in treating every property as if it were his own, ensuring each investment is positioned for maximum return.
In addition to managing properties, Mike is also a real estate investor himself, giving him a unique perspective and deeper understanding of his clients’ goals. His hands-on experience, combined with his commitment to strong values and high standards, has made him a consistent top producer within the company.
